  • break your goal up into small units - mini goals that you can get to more quickly; those little victories can fuel your momentum
  • make sure your goals are realistic - you may need to modify your goals slightly
  • include a "feeling" goal noting your energy, strength or stamina - very often, the important changes that are happening INSIDE aren't as obvious
