What is the 50-50-50 Challenge?

So nothing like sharing your age on national television!  I might as well toss in my weight and biggest fear to add to the list.  Perhaps later!This challenge grew out of conversations at the kitchen table along with a struggle to figure out how I did want to celebrate this benchmark birthday.  A trip to Vegas, a big event with friends, sky diving? I ruled out that final one right away, but wrestled with my options.  I wanted it to be memorable but meaningful.  I wanted to do something big but, honestly, am not all that comfortable at large parties. 

I realized I feel at my best when I'm helping others get comfortable in their own skin - it's a great place to be.  My starting point is inspiring people to get active, but most often it involves so many other things - shifting eating habits, addressing body image issues and helping to change WORKing out into RE-CREATION of a healthy, balanced life.

WHY?  Because I KNOW it's tough and it can be a daily - and sometimes hourly - struggle!  And because there's a lot of people we don't get to reach in a gym so I thought I could help by offering motivation, tips and tools that can be used in the gym, at home or at the office.  Ideas for fitness and food that DO work, accurate and leading-edge information to clarify the million-and-one messages we hear every day about THE diet or workout that promises to melt away fat...to offer practical ways to build habits that build energy and positive results vs. promising perfection.
